Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first again this week is Penelope, a 4-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix dog with a brown and white coat. She is a Dolly's Dream Dog, meaning her adoption fee is waived. She also comes with over $400 worth of supplies and services. While a bit shy at first, Penelope makes a great companion once she is comfortable with you. She has been with the Halifax Humane Society since June 26.

The second dog is Peanut, a 3-year-old Rottweiler mix with a black and brown coat. Though he only weighs 35 pounds, Peanut is full-grown and has lots of love to share. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since April 20, and his adoption fee costs $70.

The first featured cat is Primrose, a 3-year-old domestic shorthair with a beige and black coat. She is very friendly and loves to be petted. Primrose has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Oct. 26, and her adoption fee costs $50.
