Four dogs, including two who were spotlighted last week, have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first is Achilles, a 7-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a white coat. He is great with larger dogs but wouldn't do well in a home with small dogs. Achilles has been surrendered several times due to owners moving. Halifax Humane Society believes he deserves a break. He has been with them since Oct. 19. Adoption fee costs $35.

The second is Milo, a 1-year-old American bulldog mix with a white and black coat. He is still a puppy at heart. Milo was surrendered after his owner died and the spouse couldn't care for Milo. He is good with other dogs and people. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Sept. 15. His adoption fee costs $70.

The third is dog is Bumbles, an 8-month-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a brown coat. Bumbles is still a puppy, and is very playful. He would do well with an older dog to guide him. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Oct. 17, and his adoption fee costs $100.
