Halifax Humane Society's Pets of the Week for Aug. 13

In honor of International Cat Day, all fees are waived for cats 1 year and older until Aug. 14.

Two dogs have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first is Doris, an 8-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a tan and white coat. She loves to play, and her adoption fee is $35.

The second is Zoey, a 3-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a grey coat. Her adoption fee is $70.

In honor of International Cat Day, which took place on Aug. 8, all cats 1 year and older have their adoption fees waived until Aug. 14. The Halifax Humane Society asks you consider giving a forever home to your "very own mini-panther, mini-tiger, or mini-lion."
