Halifax Humane Society's Pets of the Week for Aug. 19

Meet a few pets that are searching for their forever homes.

Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first is Waverly, a 3-year-old mixed-breed medium-sized dog with a brown and white coat. Her adoption fee is $70.

The second is Tucker, a 2-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix dog with a brown and white coat. His adoption fee is $70.

The third is Porzia, an 8-year-old American bulldog mix with a white and black coat. Her adoption fee is $35.

Last but not least is Aqua, a 3-year-old domestic shorthair cat with a beige and black coat. Her adoption fee is $50.

The three dogs featured last week — Will, Bowie and Rango — have all been adopted!

The Halifax Humane Society, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., is open to the public during regular business hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Appointments are required for admissions, boarding and grooming. There is no appointment required to visit the adoption lobby. Masks are required.
