Halifax Humane Society's Pets of the Week for Dec. 24

Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Stephanie, an 8-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. She was found as a stray in the Deltona area. Stephanie is fun to be with and loves to go for a walk. Her adoption fee is $35.

The second is Nina, a 3-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire with a grey and white coat. She is shy, but would be perfect in a patient and relaxed home. Her adoption fee is $70.

The third is Linny, a 6-month-old mastiff mix puppy with a brown and white coat. He is in the Prison Pups N Pals program at Tomoka Correctional Institute. His adoption fee is $399.99. If interested, contact Officer Irwin at Tomoka Correctional.

Last but not least is Ace, a 10-year-old domestic shorthair cat with a black and white coat. His adoption fee is $35.

The HHS is open to the public during its regular business hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Appointments are required for admissions, boarding and grooming. There is no appointment required to visit the adoption lobby. Masks are required. To adopt, contact [email protected] or call 274-4703.
