Halifax Humane Society's Pets of the Week for Nov. 26

Adopt another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving.

Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Bella Dona, an 11-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a tan coat. She is currently in the "Prison Pups N Pals" program at Tomoka Correctional Institution. Her adoption fee is $35, and if you're interested in adopting, contact Officer Irwin at TCI.

The second is Shadow, an 11-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a grey and white coat. He is shy, but if you treat him kindly, he will blossom. His adoption fee is $35.

The first cat is Sage, a 3-month-old domestic shorthair with a black and white coat. She is currently being fostered and her foster parent is open to speak with whoever is interested in Sage. Her adoption fee is $50.

Last but not least is Josie, a 2-year-old domestic shorthair with a black and orange coat. She is also being fostered by same parent as Sage. Her adoption fee is $50.

The Halifax Humane Society is open to the public during its regular business hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Appointments are required for admissions, boarding and grooming. There is no appointment required to visit the adoption lobby. Masks are required.
