Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first pup is Lucy, a 7-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a tan coat. he originally came to the shelter in August 2018 and has since tried out a few homes, but has yet to find the perfect fit. Lucy is a cuddle bug and loves to be by your side all the time, but has high anxiety when it comes to loud noises such as thunderstorms, fireworks and the like. She would do best in a home with parents that have prior experience with dogs like her. She should also be the only pet in the home. Her adoption fee is $35.

She has been at the shelter since she was found as a stray in late June and is still looking for her forever home. She is a relaxed low-maintenance dog looking for a calm and patient home. She loves treats and lounging the shelter's outdoor kiddie pools. Her adoption fee is $35.
