The third is Doris, an 8-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a tan and white coat. She has been at the shelter since she was found as a stray in late June and is still looking for her forever home. She is a relaxed low-maintenance dog looking for a calm and patient home. She loves treats and lounging the shelter's outdoor kiddie pools. Her adoption fee is $35.

Last but not least is Serenity, a 1-year-old domestic shorthair cat with a black and white coat. Serenity loves to play and cuddle, and at her young age, has plenty of energy to use up. She enjoys a variety of toys like jingle balls, catnip mice, lasers and strings. Her adoption fee is $50.
