Home on the Halifax sells for $1.1 million

A home on the Halifax River was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of July 5-11 in the Multiple Listing Service. Matthew Merrell, of Ormond Beach, sold 116 River Lane to William and Ashleigh McLaughlin, of Ormond Beach, for $1.1 million. Built in 2008, the house is a 6/4 with two half-baths, a fireplace, swimming pool, boat dock, boat house and 5,142 square feet. It sold in 2994 for $585,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Felix Lawrence sold 1 John Anderson Drive, Unit 6070, to Patricia Taylor, of Ormond Beach, for $345,000. Built in 1996, the condo is a 2/2.5 and has 1,745 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $325,000.

Craig and Joni Nedderman sold 216 Benjamin Drive to Kevin Layne and Samantha Reid-Layne, of Gainesville, for $296,900. Built in 1952, the house is a 3/1 and has 1,305 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $130,000.

Robert Napiekrowski, of Lake Mary, sold 943 Northbrook Drive to Terry and Crystal King for $279,000. Built in 1978, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,666 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $260,000.

Ormond King Center LLC, of Ormond Beach, sold 799 Sterthaus Drive, Unit 303, to Beverly Shook, of Ormond Beach, for $275,900. Built in 2018, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,248 square feet.

Michael Morse, of Ormond Beach, sold 20 Hibiscus Drive to Joseph Hiatt and Amanda Cantillo, of Ormond Beach, for $243,000. Built in 1953, the house is a 2/1 and has 700 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $140,000.

Mark and Patricia Kresi sold 105 Sawtooth Lane to Kelley and Trudy Underwood, of Ormond Beach, for $242,000. Built in 1983, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,551 square feet. It sold in 2014 for $162,000.

Brian and Dawn Wheeler, of Port Orange, sold 1781 Cherry Laurel Drive to Roberto Dejesus and Yvells Navarro, of Ormond Beach, for $185,000. Built in 1998, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,515 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $100,500.

Smith Shores LLC, of New Smyrna Beach, sold 1267 Gallaten Road to Robert Ward IV, of Ormond Beach, for $185,000. Built in 1959, the house is a 2/2 and has 1,148 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $118,000.

Patrick and Sonja O’Brien, of Ormond Beach, sold 58 Mcalister Drive to Jacob Collins and Genevieve Trombley, of Ormond Beach, for $173,000. Built in 1956, the house is a 4/2 and has 1,242 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $70,000.

Kathern McDonough, of Daytona Beach, sold 1827 Carolina Ave. to Victor Rivera and Lizzette Burgos, of Ormond Beach, for $139,000. Built in 1970, the house is a 1/1 and has a detached workshop and 600 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $95,500.

Darrin Dunbar, of Ormond Beach, sold 210 Lemon Tree Lane, Unit 5, to J.A. and Anita Vigara, as trustees, for $138,150. Built in 1984, the condo is a 2/2.5 and has 1,262 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $90,800.

Ronald and Kristine Hanscom, of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, sold 6 Circle Creek Way to Edward Chimera, of Ormond Beach, for $330,000. Built in 1997, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,948 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $270,000.

Chelsea Place

Family Capital LLC, of Ormond Beach, sold 1216 Draycott St. to Jonathan Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $403,500. Built in 2015, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,163 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $397,500.

Halifax Plantation

R.E. Tonkinson, of Ormond Beach, sold 3657 Christa Court to David and Patricia Poltzer, of Ormond Beach, for $325,000. Built in 2002, the house is a 3/2 and has 2,381 square feet.

Hunter’s Ridge

Derek and Kimberly Cunha sold 4 Pine Look Pass to Renville Marsh, of Ormond Beach, for $570,000. Built in 1992, the house is a 6/7.5 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 4,119 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $585,000.

Richard A. Ruebel General Contractor Inc., of Ormond Beach, sold 76 Westland Run to Danielle Schellhorn and Susan Ford, of Ormond Beach, for $275,000. Built in 2019, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,645 square feet.

Plantation Bay

Edward and Kathleen Dirling sold 1321 Harwick Lane to Craig Gordon, of Ormond Beach, for $335,000. Built in 2006, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,897 square feet. It sold in 2009 for $242,000.

Albert and Genevieve Douglas, of Ormond Beach sold 1408 Sunningdale Lane to Denise and Edward Walsh, of Shelton, Connecticut, for $295,000. Built in 2001, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,930 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $255,000.

Pranav and Bhumika Shah, of Ormond Beach, sold 917 Woodstream Lane to 364 Perfect LLC, of Sanford, for $242,500. Built in 2000, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,935 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $250,000.

William Howard III, of Milton, and Jennifer Ryle-Howard, of Ormond Beach, sold 4 Sunwood Trail Hollandia Real Estate LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $275,000. Built in 1976, the house is a 3/2.5 and has a fireplace and 2,126 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $260,000.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Steve and Margaret Mrache, of Ellijay, Georgia, sold 117 Marlin Drive to David and Charlene Coughran, of Ormond Beach, for $307,000. Built in 1973, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,485 square feet. It sold in 2002 for $149,900.

Douglas and Lisa Rogers, of Ocala, sold 101 Holland Road to Misty Andon, of Lutz, for $300,000. Built in 1977, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,949 square feet. It sold in 2009 for $140,000.

Mark Sigler, of Canton, Ohio, sold 44 Sunset Blvd. to Frederic Thrash, of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, for $245,000. Built in 1973, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,488 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $26,667.
