Home on river sells for $2 million

A house on John Anderson Drive topped the sales list for residential real estate transactions the week of Sept. 15-21 in Ormond Beach. Gregory Parr and Dawn Chappel, of Volusia County, sold 890 John Anderson Drive to Jeffrey Martin, of Ormond Beach, for $2 million. Built in 2001, the house has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a fireplace, a boat house and dock with boat lift, a swimming pool and spa, an elevator and 6,805 square feet of living area. It sold in 1993 for $400,000.

ORMOND BEACH

Ishwar and Bharti Naran, of Ormond Beach, sold 32 Talaquah Blvd. to Arian Development LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $350,800. Built in 1994, the house has four beds, three baths, a fireplace, a pool and 3,132 square feet. The lot sold in 1991 for $56,000.

James Schwarz, of Joplin, Mo., sold 1 John Anderson Drive, Unit 703, to Isin and Gulsin Erel, of Palm Coast, for $300,000. Built in 1996, the condo has three beds, 3.5 baths and 2,675 square feet. It sold in 1996 for $280,000.

Stacy Kaelber, and Joshua Wall, of Ormond Beach, sold 1209 Northside Drive to Daniel Mills and Joan Farrington, of Ormond Beach, for $160,500. Built in 1980, the house has three beds, two baths, a fireplace, a swimming pool and 1,514 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $165,000.

John Anthony and Karen Britt, co-trustees of the Richard A. Stein Family Revocable Trust, sold 1205 Northside Drive to Adam Sears, of Ormond Beach, for $134,900. Built in 1983, the house has three beds, two baths, a fireplace and 1,486 square feet. It sold in 1991 for $85,000.

The county of Volusia sold 593 Ridgewood Ave. to Shana Freedman, of Ormond Beach, for $134,900. Built in 1971, the house has three beds, two baths and 1,488 square feet. There were no previous qualified sales.

Robert and Charlotte Courteaux, of Ormond Beach, sold 203 Orchard Street, Unit 14C, to Laurie Nelson, of Ormond Beach, for $70,000. Built in 1985, the condo has two beds, two baths and 1,083 square feet. It sold in March for $60,000.

Bates Holdings Florida, of Orlando, sold 280 Lincoln Avenue to Debby Presley, of Ormond Beach, for $55,000. Built in 1993, the house has two beds, one bath and 884 square feet. This is the first qualified sale.

Breakaway Trails

Stanley and Paula Hoelle, of Daytona Beach, sold 4 Lost Spring Way, to Henry and Tammy Sterling, of Ormond Beach, for $600,000. Built in 2004, the house has five beds, four baths, two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 4,158 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $825,000.

Mark and Mary LaStarza, of Ormond Beach, sold 30 Forest View Way to James and Michelle Hetherly, of Ormond Beach, for $255,000. Built in 1989, the house has three beds, three baths, a fireplace, a pool and 2,341 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $170,000.

Ormond Lakes

Vasil and Savetka Murgoska, of Ormond Beach, sold 107 Timucuan Drive to Joel and Dany Marmin, of Faumont, France, for $210,000. Built in 2006, the house has three beds, two baths and 1,653 square feet. It sold in 2006 for 268,800.

Plantation Bay

Kenneth Platt, of Gainesville, sold 1077 Hampstead Lane to Robert and Leslie Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $420,000. Built in 2002, the house has three beds, three baths, a fireplace, a swimming pool and 2,824 square feet. The lot sold in 2001 for $95,000.

The Trails

Brenda Womble, of Ormond Beach, sold 20 Wildwood Trail to Joshua and Stacy Wall, of Ormond Beach, for $141,500. Built in 1984, the house has two beds, three baths, a fireplace and 1,780 square feet. It sold in 1991 for $81,000.

ORMOND BY THE SEA

James Mulhalland and Cecilia Jankurs, of Ormond Beach, sold 19 Camellia Drive to Robert and Carol Cox, of Ormond Beach, for $135,000. Built in 1958, the house has two beds, two baths and 728 square feet. It sold in 2004 for $149,000.
