A house on the beachside was the top real estate sales transaction for the week of Aug. 30 to Sept. 5 in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea. John O'Neil, of Quincy, Massachusetts, sold 554 Riverside Drive to Maurice Kaufman, of Ormond Beach, for $600,000. Built in 1950, the house has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fireplace, boat dock and 1,660 square feet. No other sales were listed.

Timeless Renovations LLC, of Orlando, sold 492 Hand Ave. to Robert and Jessica Daye-Redmond, and Sally Redmond, of Ormond Beach, for $492,000. Built in 1976, the house has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,361 square feet. It sold in 1999 for $70,000.

Terrill and Lynn LaRue, of Tallahassee, sold 395 S. Atlantic Ave, Unit 702, to John and Susanne Kennedy, of Ormond Beach, for $375,000. Built in 1982, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,931 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $225,000.

James Ricks, Jr. and Amy Lou Pantages, of Ormond Beach, sold 165 Riverside Drive to Joni Hunt, of Ormond Beach, for $345,000. Built in 1953, the house has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2,477 square feet. It sold in 2011 for $305,000.
