House on golf course tops the sales list

A house in Plantation Bay was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Dec. 15-21 in the Multiple Listing Service. Thomas and Marsha O’Hara, individually and as trustees, sold 1224 Castlehawk Lane to Marc Zinder and Toni O’Brien, of Ormond Beach, for $690,000. Built in 2014, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 3,120 square feet. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

John and Marita Kelly, of Ormond Beach, sold 191 Ellicott Drive to Daniel and Deborah McGoldrick, of North Charleston, South Carolina, for $351,000. Built in 1963, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,790 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $237,500.

Paul Lupien Investments LLC, of Edgewater, sold 222 Seminole Ave. to Anthony and Denise Newman, of Lilburn, Georgia, for $333,000. Built in 1951, the house has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,421 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $199,000.

Donald and Ronnie Herzog, of Ormond Beach, sold 9 Stratford Place to Donald M. Pittsley Revocable Living Trust for $265,000. Built in 1983, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,769 square feet. It sold in 1988 for $80,000.

Mariellen Larzazs, of Ormond Beach, sold 732 N. Beach St. to Madison and Joseph Cottingham, of Ormond Beach, for $257,250. Built in 1977, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,500 square feet. It sold in 2007 for $172,800.

Denise Walls and Muhammad Abu-Izzah sold 1419 N. Beach St.to Jeffrey Dabney, of Ormond Beach, for $235,000. Built in 1978, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2,499 square feet. It sold in 2018 for $235,000.

Roy and Teresa Webb sold 18 Maria St. to Kenneth and Mary Bragers, of Ormond Beach, for $206,000. Built in 1957, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,227 square feet. It sold in 2010 for $113,000.

Hosea Partners Ltd., of Port Orange, sold 9 Trina St.to Angela Phifer, of Ormond Beach, for $190,000. Built in 1985, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,168 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $145,000.

Wilmington Savings Fund Society, as trustee, sold 1708 Hope Drive to Drake and Emily Falcon, of Ormond Beach, for $189,000. Built in 1979, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,225 square feet. It sold in 1999 for $69,900.

Chris and Dawn Bussey sold 358 S. Orchard St. to Samantha Davis and Julien Johnson, of Ormond Beach, for $181,500. Built in 1965, the house has three bedrooms, one bath and 1,781 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $130,000.

Debra McCall and Melissa Howlett sold 204 Oleeta St. to Stacey Cooper, of Englewood, Colorado, for $150,000. Built in 1948, the house has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 872 square feet.

Barrie Biss, of Ormond Beach, sold 542 S. Ridgewood Ave. to Annalise Nguyen and Tuan Tran, of Port Orange, for $135,000. Built in 1953, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,125 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $64,500.

Lorraine Hood and Louis Garafolo Jr., of Ormond Beach, sold 203 S. Orchard St., Unit 6D, to Theresa Eckenrode, of Ormond Beach, for $130,000. Built in 1985, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,083 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $65,000.

Halifax Plantation

Roy and Patrice Stoves, of Ormond Beach, sold 3239 Galty Circle to Jay O’Hair, of Ormond Beach, for $280,000. Built in 2002, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,932 square feet. It sold in 2006 for $326,700.

Gary and Rebecca Casteel, of Palm Coast, sold 3328 Newbliss Circle to Kitty Hairfield, as trustee, for $242,500. Built in 1996, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,700 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $220,000.

Mark Caramanica, of Tampa, and Christine Caramanica, of Islip, New York, sold 3508 Middlemore Lane to Joseph Debenedictis and Jo McCormick, of Ormond Beach, for $215,000. Built in 2000, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,627 square feet.

Plantation Bay

Jack Cannon, individually and as trustee, and Susan O’Rourke, of Ormond Beach, sold 1213 Hampstead Lane to Kent Parkhurst, of Ormond Beach, for $350,000. Built in 2003, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,094 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $318,000.

Prestwick at Plantation Bay, of Daytona Beach, sold 1103 Kilkenny Lane to John and Kathleen Cray, of Ormond Beach, for $246,420. Built in 2014, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,510 square feet.

The Trails

Mark and Karen Halal, of DeLand, sold 4 Willow Oaks Trail to Massimilano Pomaro and Bonnie Williamson, of Ormond Beach, for $377,500. Built in 1979, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,448 square feet. It sold in 2007 for $362,500.

Tomoka Estates

Ormond Investors LLC, of Ormond Beach, sold 1088 Peninsula Drive to Michael Reilly and Sarah Fritts-Reilly, of Ormond Beach, for $199,000. Built in 1961, the house has two bedrooms, one bath, a boat dock and 952 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $205,000.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Mark and Andria Herr, individually and as trustees, sold 3 Ocean View Drive to Richard Martin and Marybeth Acker, of New Smyrna Beach, for $375,000. Built in 1956, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,247 square feet.

Eric and JoEllen Askloff, individually and as trustees, sold 1183 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 602, to Vitorino and Idalina Columbano, of Palm Coast, for $315,000. Built in 1995, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,198 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $271,000.

Ray and Donna Arvesen, of Dallas, Georgia, sold 24 Sand Dollar Drive to Melissa and Samuel Bradford, of Ormond Beach, for $310,000. Built in 1989, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,491 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $126,000.

Gretel Carbone and Marion Hettrich sold 127 Barrier Isle Drive to Patricia Scannell, of Ormond Beach, for $292,500. Built in 1992, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,908 square feet. It sold in 2002 for $141,000.

Doris Barrells, of Leesburg, sold 7 Seabreeze Drive to Timothy Curran and Judi Knowlen, of Boca Raton, for $247,500. Built in 1957, the house has two bedrooms, one bath, a fireplace and 1,076 square feet. It sold in 1995 for $60,000.

Jerry and Leslie Coleman, individually and as trustees, sold 2860 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 5010, to Michael and Jill Beck, of Wildwood, for $220,000. Built in 1990, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,056 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $163,000.

James Cafaro, individually and as trustee, sold 2850 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 5, to Timothy and Jamie Welch, of Ormond Beach, for $200,000. Built in 1980, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,184 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $182,000.

Ronald and Trisha Hansen, of St. Johns, sold 3180 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 211, to Marie Flositz, of Ormond Beach, for $192,000. Built in 1994, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 876 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $80,000.
