Kaleb Lee makes it to Top 11 on The Voice

Ormond Beach resident Kaleb "Lee" Scharmahorn climbed to the top 11 Tuesday night as fan votes helped him advance to the next round after his Monday night performance of "Amazed" by Lonestar.

His emotional delivery of the 1999 country song earned him enough votes to remain on the show. The song choice was a tribute to his wife, Meagan. Scharmahorn said the song reminded him of how awesome she is.

"If you have had the worse day, she will make you feel better," Scharmahorn said in a video interview.

Scharmahorn told Coach Kelly Clarkson he picked the song that week because he thought it was his wedding song — it wasn't — causing Clarkson to double over in laughter.

Team Kelly did lose one member Tuesday: D.R. King was eliminated after landing in the bottom two and singing for the audience's instant save. The audience voted to avance Rayshun LaMarr to the next round.
