Kenneth Eric Jones
1925-2020

Ken was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He joined the U.S. Marines in 1943, reaching the rank of Corporal by the end of WWII. Upon returning to Buffalo, he joined the New York Telephone Company where he met his wife, Jeannine Fromm. They were married in 1948. Ken moved his family to Ft. Lauderdale Florida in 1957 and remained a Florida resident until he and his wife moved in with their daughter in Goldendale Washington in 2018.

He especially enjoyed his time playing at the Halifax Plantation Golf Club. He also had a passion for building fine furniture, tending his garden, and loving his succession of Labrador retrievers.

After retirement, Ken moved to Halifax Plantation near Ormund Beach, Florida where he became an avid golfer. He especially enjoyed his time playing at the Halifax Plantation Golf Club. Ken leaves his wife of 70 years, Jeannine Fromm Jones; his daughter, Gail Jones, his sons, Kenneth Jones and Gregg Jones, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
