Five acres along Granada Boulevard have been assembled for the second phase of the Shoppes on Granada, which will house new tenants such as Aldi and TD Bank.

According to a press release, SVN Alliance Commercial Real Estate Advisors recently negotiated the land assemblage on behalf of the shoppes' real estate developer and investment company, The Ferber Company. Assembling the land, which included a number of residential and off-market commercial parcels, cost more than $2 million.

Shoppes on Granada is located at 1298 W. Granada Blvd., just east of Dustin's Bar-B-Q and Lowe's. The press release announced that the Ferber Company is anticipated to begin construction immediately, with plans to open stores in the second phase in 2019. The project's site plan was approved on June 30.

It has not reached the Planning Board or City Commission.
