Three Minto master-planned communities have been named by two prestigious national ranking sources among 2021’s top 50 master-planned communities in the U.S. The highly ranked Minto communities include Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach, Florida, Latitude Margaritaville in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Westlake in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The communities were recognized by both the John Burns Real Estate Consulting list of 2021 Top 50 Master-Planned Communities, and the RCLCO Real Estate Consulting list of the 50 Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities of 2021.
On the John Burns list, Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach and Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head ranked 19 and 36 respectively, and Westlake ranked 33. On the RCLCO Real Estate Consulting list Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach ranked 16, Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head ranked 35, and Westlake ranked 30.
Latitude Margaritaville communities are being developed by master developer Minto Communities and global lifestyle brand Margaritaville. Inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of singer, songwriter and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett.
Latitude Margaritaville communities offer Conch Cottages, villas and single-family homes starting in the mid $200,000s as well as resort amenities and an active lifestyle built on the four pillars of fun, food, music and escapism.
The third and newest location, Latitude Margaritaville Watersound, opened in late spring 2021 near Panama City Beach. Over 550,000 prospective homebuyers are registered as Latitude Margaritaville Paradise Club members to receive regular updates on the communities.
Westlake is located in Palm Beach County’s newest city by the same name. Minto Communities, the primary homebuilder and master developer of Westlake, is approved to build 4,500 homes and more than 2 million square feet of non-residential space in the 3,800-acre master-planned community. The Westlake Adventure Park amenity includes a lagoon-style pool with waterslide, splash pad, poolside concessions, BMX pump park, playground, expansive lawn area with concert pavilion and food truck court for community events, plus bocce ball courts and a dog park. Minto is underway with phase two amenity construction including an adult lap pool, multi-purpose building and basketball courts. Minto offers townhomes, single-family homes and estate homes ranging from the $400,000 to mid-$800,000 in several neighborhoods within Westlake.
According to Minto Communities USA President Mike Belmont, Minto had a record-setting 2021 with 2,267 sales in their communities located in Florida and South Carolina.
