Leanne Siegfried, of Ormond Beach-based Emergency Community Network, was named this year’s University of Florida Gator Alumni of the Year.

Leanne Siegfried, general counsel at the Emergency Communications Network, in Ormond Beach, won this year’s University of Florida Gator Alumni of the Year award, in recognition of her leadership as the first female president of the Volusia County Gator Club.
Notching her first full eyar at ECN this month, Siegfried administers all of the legal matters for her company, which organizes emergency notification services capable of reaching millions of citizens in minutes.
The Gator Alumni Leader of the Year is a national award, presented by the university’s alumni association, to one individual who exemplifies strong leadership. Siegfried graduated from UF with her bachelor’s in 2002, and then with her master’s two years later. She later graduated cum laude from the university in 2007 with a law degree.
She was presented the award this summer.
