Local Cub Scouts earn top badges, graduate to Boy Scouts

Twenty-three Cub Scouts earned their Arrow of Light badges last week, at a ceremony with den leaders, cubmasters and flaming-arrow displays.

At a Feb. 16 ceremony, 23 Cub Scouts, from Pack 74, received their Arrow of Light badges, which is the highest rank a Cub Scout can receive.

The badge is the only one Scouts can wear on their uniforms, and it marks a Cub Scout's  graduation into Boy Scouts.

The honorees are listed as follows (front row): Colin Cowdell, Braden Hansard, Trey Heller, Trevor Tobey, Mario LaTorre, Matthew Skipper, Clay James, Dylan Webb and Jake Reib.

Back row: Daniel Bergery, Ethan Gernert, Jake Alexander, Will Zboch, Daniel Brennaman, Jonathan Sharon, Martin Rodriguez, Caleb Lique, Joseph Zahnan, Chris Kelley and Logan Ziegler.
