Lohman Community Outreach, a program of Lohman Funeral Homes, hosted a Light of Hope Community Candlelight Remembrance at their Ormond Chapel, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Dec. 14.

An annual community event, the unique candlelight experience featured music by Mary Cuchetti from the Cuchetti School of Music, an inspirational message by Reverend Wilie Lowe, and an interactive candle lighting ceremony. A special gift to honor the memory of loved ones was provided to all attendees.

“One of the most traumatic experiences a person can have is loss of a loved one," said Patrick Cooney, funeral director. "Light of Hope is designed to help community members who have experienced loss to honor the memory of their loved ones in a unique and special way."
