6:30 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N. U.S. Highway 1. In collaboration with SMA Behavioral Healthcare Prevention Center and One Voice for Volusia Coalition, “Steadfast” a faith-based feature film directed to teens and parents and filmed exclusively in Volusia County. A touching drama with an inspirational soundtrack, the movie portrays issues such as bullying, purity, cutting, substance abuse, and more, and highlights how we can stand strong through life’s trials and temptations. Outdoor activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. Local resources and seating will begin at 5:45 p.m. There will also be a costume contest with prizes. Free. Watercolor Workshop with Stacey Fletcher Reynolds
9 a.m. to noon at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum. The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to a range of ideas and techniques through the unique properties of watercolor. Students are responsible for some supplies. Open to participants 16 and older. Locally roasted coffee, generously provided by Steel Oak Coffee. Cost is $76.
The Bag Lady Luncheon

Wind and Weather
11 a.m. at the Environmental Discovery Center. The wind, how it is created, how the coastal environment differs from inland climates, how the wind is measured and how the wind relates to the other weather parameters.
