10:33 a.m. — 100 block of East Granada Boulevard
Larceny. A restaurant employee had his bike stolen after he left it at the back of business for a few minutes. He declined to pursue criminal charges however, and told police that it was his fault and that he shouldn't have left his bike unattended and insecure.
Restaurant security footage showed a man getting on the bicycle, but according to the incident report, the "captured image is of poor quality," and not many descriptive figures could be made out. The restaurant employee told police he didn't have time to get more involved in the matter, and that he will just buy another bike. He did ask to be contacted in case his bike was recovered.
Police have been unable to find it.
1:12 p.m. — First block of North Yonge Street
Disturbance. A 61-year-old man was invited inside a local gas station convenience store and given cookies by an employee to thank him for his help during his shift, but an assistant manager later attempted to trespass the man.
The assistant manager called police and said the man stole from the business and that he had been previously trespassed. Police spoke with the employee who let the man inside the store, who confirmed that he did give him the cookies, and that he had given him other items in the past. Because of this, police told the assistant manager that they could not press charges.
