An Ormond Beach man was arrested and charged with sexual battery of a mentally disabled person.

Donald Viers, 59, was an employee at United Cerebral Palsy and was arrested Tuesday after the Sheriff's Office said he had the adult victim touch his exposed penis while in a car. The officer also said Viers sexually battered her at his house later the same day.

Viers was a floor supervisor with United Cerebral Palsy, according to reports, and he has denied all sexual allegations to investigators.

However, the Sheriff's Office reports that he admitted to "setting up a social engagement involving the victim and a male United Cerebral Palsy client, taking the victim and the man to his house and taking them to a restaurant."

According to the Sheriff's Office, the group's policy prohibits employees from socializing with clients. Viers initially declined being aware of the policy, the arresting officer says, and he later declined to comment after being shown the policy document he signed during his hiring.
