Man robs Ormond Beach CVS store

The unknown suspect stole a register's cash drawer, police report.

The Ormond Beach Police Department is seeking a man who stole a cash drawer at about 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, from the CVS Pharmacy at 250 E. Granada Blvd.

purchase at the counter. When the clerk opened the register, the man grabbed the cash drawer, struggling with the clerk before he was able to steal it and flee the store. Police believe the man, who was dressed in all black, ran southwest behind the CVS. 

It is unknown how much money was in the cash drawer at this time.

Police ask that anyone who may have information about the robbery contact OBPD through the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Central Dispatch at 248-1777. For those who wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crimestoppers at 277-TIPS.
