Oceanfront home sells: $1.5 million

A unique oceanfront home topped the sales list for residential real estate transactions the week of Oct. 20-26, in Ormond Beach. Chapman J. Root II, of Ormond Beach, sold 95 Ocean Shore Blvd. to Alan and Kelly Ginsburg, of Ormond Beach, for $1.5 million. Built in 1991, the house has three bedrooms, four baths, a fireplace, detached apartment, seawall, swimming pool, wooden deck and 2,671 square feet of living area. The land sold in 1989 for $342,500. The home has been the subject of many architectural publications, according to the listing description.

ORMOND BEACH

Rosalie Watts, of Ormond Beach, sold 2 Carrington Lane to Louis G. Manolas, of Ormond Beach, for $222,500. Built in 1996, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1.955 square feet. It sold in 1996 for $181,445.

Joseph Sanfilippo, of Ormond Beach, sold 125 Ivanhoe Drive to Desiderata Triani, of Ormond Beach, for $127,500. Built in 1960, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,456 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $114,000.

Jane S. Robinson, of Ormond Beach, sold 286 Putnam Ave. to Richard Francis, of Los Angeles, for $88,000. Built in 2000, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,194 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $110,000.

William H. and Marguerite L. Owen, of Ormond Beach, sold 136 Salvador Place to Mark L. Gentile, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, for $65,000. Built in 1953, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 768 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $118,000.

Joseph Daprile, of Ormond Beach, sold 18 Fair Oaks Circle to Natalie E. Coolidge, of Ormond Beach, for $52,000. Built in 1979, the townhome has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,270 square feet. It sold in 2011 for $42,000.

Chelsea Place

Joseph and Susan Petrucci, of Ormond Beach, sold 373 Chelsea Place Ave. to Otto A. Gruenewald and Patricia A. Ordile, of Laurel, N.J., for $230,000. Built in 2010, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,827 square feet. It sold in 2010 for $205,385.

Coquina Point

Charles C. Milton and Rose F. Milton, of Charles, Ill., sold 50 Coquina Point Drive to David E. Rhodes Jr. and June E. Rhodes, of Ormond Beach, for $215,000. Built in 2000, the house has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,229 square feet. It sold in 1996 for $35,900.

Halifax Plantation

Jeffrey M. Sousa, of Ormond Beach, sold 1413 Kilrush Drive to Marc G. and Lisa R. Wise, of Ormond Beach, for $290,000. Built in 2003, the house has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, a swimming pool and 2,624 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $225,000.

Shirley B. Jones, of Ormond Beach, sold 4020 Acoma Drive to Arthur J. and Karla N. Bright, of Marietta, Ga., for $264,000. Built in 1996, the house has four bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 2,529 square feet. It sold in 1994 for $38,000.

Oak Forest

Paula J. Fox, of Port Orange, sold 1 Eileen Terrace to Ronald D. and Virginia D. Ekins, as trustees of the Ronald D. Ekins and Virginia D. Ekins Joint Revocable Trust, of Ormond Beach, for $150,000. Built in 1978, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2004 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $135,000.

Tomoka Oaks

Carolyn Beck and Ruth Gras, of Ormond Beach, sold 49 St. Andrews Drive to Brittany Jean Seibert, of Ormond Beach, for $260,000. Built in 1966, the house has four bedrooms, two baths and 2,226 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $160,000.

The Trails

David E. and June E. Rhodes, of Ormond Beach, sold 70 Big Buck Trail to Ruth Woginiack, trustee of the Ruth Woginiack Revocable Trust, of Ormond Beach, for $187,500. Built in 1988, the house has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2,460 square feet. It sold in 1988 for $142,300.

Gregory A. and Constance Bollinger, of Ormond Beach, sold 20 Maplewood Trail to Larry and Debra Fleury, of Brampton, Ontario, for $107,000. Built in 1979, the house has two bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,261 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $70,000.

ORMOND BY THE SEA

Peter D. and Dawn L. Langton, and John and Rebecca H. Yanni, of St. Augustine, sold 2730 Ocean Shore Blvd., No. 107, to Joanne C. Nelson, of Palm Coast, for $141,500. Built in 1990, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 871 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $275,000.

Kim M. Krawczky, of Jacksonville, sold 14 Camellia Drive to Michael Favreau, of Wolcott, Conn., for $127,500. Built in 1958, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 908 square feet. It sold in 1990 for $56,000.

Mark B. Sylvester and Darla K. Sylvester Combs, of Deltona, sold 13 Carol Road to Shirley Marie and Wayne L. Bruckbauer, of Deltona, for $115,500. Built in 1953, the house has five bedrooms, five baths and 2,630 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.
