The second Ormond Beach 2 Go! was held June 8 at Hunter’s Ridge clubhouse. In this event, city staff members go on the road to bring services to the community. Representatives of various city departments answer questions and provide information. Residents can get a recycle bin, pay a water bill, have their blood pressure checked, or register for classes and programs such as the Citizen’s Academy. The next Ormond Beach 2 Go! will be Oct. 19 in The Falls. To have the event in your neighborhood, call Terri Hamsher at 676-3201.
