The fire department responded to over 300 fires in 2012. The police department issued over 350 parking tickets. And, you'll never guess how many emails the city received this year.

4,872 — Rescue and emergency medical calls responded to by the Ormond Beach Fire Department, from Oct. 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2012. The department also responded to 345 fires and 431 false alarms.

378 — Parking citations issued. The Ormond Beach Police Department also issued 10,250 traffic stops and responded to 51,184 service calls.

6,113.8 Curb miles cleaned with street sweepers; 1,755.5 cubic yards of debris was also removed.

1.6 million Miles traveled by the city's fleet. It also consumed $639,516.44 in fuel.

5.27 million Gallons of water delivered by the city per day. That's about 1.925 billion gallons of water in the year.

337,653 Emails received by the city through Dec. 17.

3,099 Building permits issued through Dec. 17, with a total valuation of $45,856,211. The city also conducted 8,247 inspections.
