Ormond Beach All-stars win tourneys

The Ormond Beach 10U All-star team won the District 13 Championship by going undefeated in tournament play, outscoring their opponents 41-9 in four total games. They will now head to Lake City for the Florida State Championship from July 9-12.

In addition, the Ormond 12U team also went undefeated, outscoring their opponents 54-7 en route to a district title. The team finished with a batting average over .500, including five homeruns hit by Zack Futch (2), Liam Garvey, Robert Treur and Caleb Kwekel.

Around the same time as the 10U team, they will play in Madison for their state tournament.
