Ormond Beach cash drawer snatcher robs Circle K

Police are linking the suspect to two other cases, including the recent CVS Pharmacy robbery.

The Ormond Beach Police Department is searching for an unknown white male who robbed the Circle K convenience store at 1058 N. U.S. 1 by snatching the register's cash drawer while pretending to make a purchase on Sunday, July 22.

7:40 p.m. and grabbed a Monster energy drink from the refrigerated section of the store. He approached the register under the pretense of purchasing it, along with a pack of cigarettes, and handed cash to the store clerk. When she opened the cash register, the suspect reached over, grabbed the cash drawer and fled from the store. 

The suspect ran out into the wooded area to the southwest of the store, police reported. OBOD believes the man's description matches that of the suspect who robbed the Sunoco on Sunday, July 15, and the CVS Pharmacy on Saturday, July 21.
