Now I see you

Info. A ongoing feud between her neighbors caused a 34-year-old Ormond Beach woman to call police and inform them of the situation, the most recent of which was that her neighbors came onto her property, and trimmed one of her trees so their security cameras had a clear line of vision into the woman's home. The woman said her neighbors installed the camera to watch her and her family, according to the police report.

The woman said her neighbors constantly attempt to provoke her by screaming curse words at her and taunting her child. She said they have had issues ever since they moved into the neighborhood.

The neighbors, a couple in their late 50s and early 60s, told police that it was the woman who was provoking them, and that she has lived here longer and they aren't going to interrupt "her peace and quiet." They told police that she would have her child come into their driveway and stick his tongue out at them.

The neighbors said last time police were called, officers suggested they get cameras. The reporting officer this time told them that they couldn't go on someone else's property to trim trees. He determined nothing criminal had occurred at this point, and under the woman's demands, issued the neighbors a trespassing warning.

Home sweet home

Fraud. What initially started out as a new beginning turned into a stressful situation after a woman discovered that the house she had signed a rental agreement for, was not actually for rent — at least not to her.

Police arrived to the home after receiving a call about a burglary in progress. There, the officer found the woman and her uncle. The woman said she had been conversing with someone over email and text messages regarding renting the house after being connected through Craigslist.

She sent $1,300 worth of Amazon gift cards to cover the first month's rent. Once she and her uncle arrived to the house, they struggled to get inside. Her uncle ended up breaking a back window, police report.

The property owner's sister later came around the house and saw them, calling police because she was frightened. The woman told officers she wished to pursue charges.

Who is Jack?

Found property. A 44-year-old Ormond Beach man informed police of an odd find he spotted in the dumpster of a local grocery store a couple of weeks before. While inside the dumpster, the man found a wooden box with a name carved atop it, which he discovered contained the ashes of someone's loved one.

The man told the officer that he believed the box was thrown away accidentally. When the officer asked why it took so long for the man to report it, the man replied that it had been in the trunk of his vehicle and that he forgot all about it.

The wooden box has a golf plaque on it, and is inscribed with the name "Jack."
