For the sixth straight year, the Ormond Beach Middle School PTA will throw its Community Yard Bazaar at the school, 100 Corbin Ave., Saturday, Oct. 13. All funds raised will be used for educational materials.
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be barbecue, ice cream, vendors, home-made jewelry, holiday gifts and Diane Gianlorenzo, psychic medium for people and pets, conducting readings.
“I’ve been doing this event for four years,” Gianlorenzo said. “I just love (it), and it’s one of only three events I do in person during the year, because the energy of the teachers and kids is so great.”
Ormond Beach Elementary has 300 students, grades kindergarten to six. The Big Red Bus will also be parked at the bazaar and will give a free ice cream cone and barbecue sandwich to all blood donors (a Darden Restaurant gift card will be given to all ALYX donors).
For more, or to rent a vendor table for $20 (tables can also be rented 7 a.m. the morning of with an additional fee), call 258-4666.
