Hilton Ramirez celebrated his 101st July 9 at the Ormond Beach Senior Center.

101-year-old Hilton Ramirez still loves to dance.

The former dance teacher and a tap dancer was still ready to hit the dance floor, even during his 101st birthday party July 9 at the Ormond Beach Senior Center.

"I used to play saxophone," Ramirez said. "I was in the navy too. I was only supposed to stay four years and they kept me because I tapped dance too. I used to teach ballroom dancing too."

Ramirez said he used to own a dance studio in Philadelphia but he had to close it down because he got married.

"My wife didn't like me coming home at two and three in the morning," Ramirez said. "I couldn't do that anymore.

Though he's been married four times, Ramirez is currently single and said he hasn't given up on love.

"I'm still looking around," Ramirez chuckled, "but they don't want me because I'm 101 years old. I got too old."
