An Ormond Beach couple were found dead in their home Thursday night in what police are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide.
John Poucher called 911 around midnight May 23 and said he shot his wife Barbra Poucher who has Alzheimer's. Poucher hung up right after.
When the Ormond Beach Police Department arrived at the Pouchers' house at 4 Ribbon Falls Drive, they found the body of John Poucher in the living room and the body of Barbra Poucher in the bedroom. Both victims died from gunshot wounds.
OBPD Investigators and crime scene personnel are working to determine the events that led up to the shooting.
