Ormond Beach residents rule Daytona Playhouse production

Five Ormond Beach residents are involved in the latest show at the Daytona Playhouse, “Alone Together Again.”

“Alone Together Again,” the latest comedy put on at the Daytona Playhouse, 100 Jessamine Blvd., features five Ormond Beach residents, including the production’s director and stage manager.

Director Bruce Heighley, is a British transplant, retired from a professional theater career.

Stage Manager Chris Nestor is a long-time volunteer at the Playhouse, as well as former teacher.

Robert Dimsey acts in the play and is a lifetime resident. He has been involved with the Playhouse since the 1970s, along with Cherie Siegel.

And Bob Weaver has starred in several productions at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.

“Alone Together Again,” by Lawrence Roman, will run Dec. 7-16. Tickets are $16 (adults), $14 (seniors) and $5 (kids)
