Ormond Beach residents star in 'Rex's Exes'

The show will open at the Daytona Playhouse June 3.

The Verdeen cousins are stirring things up in Sweetgum, Texas in the comedy "Rex's Exes."

Peaches is determined to throw her cousin a surprise 50th birthday party, but the party morphs to a funeral when her husband is declared dead. But is he? Then a jilted bride holds them all hostage with a loaded paintball gun. This comedy is directed by Ormond Beach resident Larrie Tiffany, who also builds all their sets.

Ormond Beach residents Robin Davis and Patti Miracle are also staring in the play, which opens June 3. Dates and times are as follows:
