Ormond Beach's Kaleb Lee in top 10 on The Voice

Ormond Beach resident Kaleb 'Lee' Scharmahorn continues his journey on this season of the Voice by making it to the top 10 on Tuesday night. 

Scharmahorn turned things up a notch this week during by performing Travis Tritt's "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" on the Monday night live performances of the top 11 artists still on the show. It was Fan Week on the show, which meant audiences got to choose what songs the contestants would perform. Scharmahorn revealed during the show that this was not his first time performing the song — he had sung it in elementary school at eight years old. 

City Commissioner Dwight Selby announced Scharmahorn had made it to the top 10 during the City Commission meeting on Tuesday night. Mayor Bill Partington said Ormond Beach and the Scharmahorn family highlighted on national TV is fantastic.

“We’re lucky and we wish him the best as he continues with that,” Partington said.

Eliminated this week was Sharane Calister from Team Adam.
