Ormond-By-The-Sea organizations present local church with check for hurricane relief

The Ladies Auxiliary and the Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4435 in Ormond-By-The-Sea lent a hand to Riverview United Methodist Church in the form of funds for hurricane relief.

Together, both organizations were able to raise $500 for the church. This is the result of one of the fundraising opportunities the groups conducts, both on a national and community-wide level. If you would like to join them, call 386-441-1438.

Florida Flower Show Judge Barbara Willy made a stop in Ormond Beach to teach members of the Tillandsia Garden Club about holiday floral designs on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Stonewood Grill.

The floral designer's creations, which included a Thanksgiving basket and Christmas season floral designs, were awarded to a few audience members. The Tillandsia Garden Club is celebrating its 70th year. For more information, contact Club President Jane Eddy at [email protected]
