Ormond man arrested on 30 counts of child pornography

Deputies arrested a 56-year-old Ormond Beach man on 30 counts of child pornography on Tuesday, Sept. 18. 

Wayne Swafford's home in the first block of Riverwood Drive was searched by Volusia County Sheriff's Office's Child Exploitation Unit on Aug. 9, where deputies found pornographic images on his computer of boys and girls between 3 and 11 years old, according to a press release. The investigation came after the agency received a tip in May from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

Swafford is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail with no bail. This is a developing story.
