Inside the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and away from the hot summer heat, a masterpieces were being made.

Eight-year-old Alyana Verzal was deciding between white or yellow flowers to color onto her pop-up paper cottage. After muling it over for a few seconds, she decided yellow was the "right the thing to do."

Verzal was one of the many kids who came out with their families to the first — of hopefully many — Dinner, Art and a Movie night. Hosted by the museum and the City's Department of Leisure Services, the event included food trucks, a free art project and a free movie in the park.
