Ormond police searching for bank robbery suspect

The Ormond Beach Police Department is searching for an unknown man who robbed the Florida Community Bank at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

According to a press release, the man showed a note demanding money to a teller at the bank, located at 1120 W. Granada Blvd. Police

reported that the man implied he had a weapon, and that after receiving money, fled the scene. 

OBPD officers, along with Daytona Beach Police K-9 officers and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Air1 unit, conducted a search for the suspect, but he has not been found. 

Police asks anyone with information to contact OBPD through VCSO's central dispatch at 248-1777. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
