A riverfront home in Byrnes, Ormond by the Sea, topped the sales list for residential real estate transactions in the city the week of Aug. 18-25. Russell Cheatham and Christine Ann Merrell, of Volusia County, sold 132 River Lane, in Byrnes, Ormond by the Sea, to Craig and Melissa Wells, of Ormond Beach, for $507,000. Built in 1963, the corner-lot home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a private dock and 2,815 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2006 for $800,000.

Chelsea Place

John and Jaclyn Congdon, of San Diego, sold 121 Chelsea Place to Richard and Ramute Bell, of Ormond Beach, for $294,000. Built in 2005, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,513 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2010 for $299,000.

Forest Hills

Bonnie Miller, of Kingsport, Tenn., sold 1259 Vanderbilt Drive to Morea Dale, of Ormond Beach, for $85,000. Built in 1963 by the seller, the house has four bedrooms, two baths and 1,742 square feet of living area.

Oak Forest

William and Dorothy Varley, of Volusia County, sold 1 Robin Court to Kathleen Bravo, of Ormond Beach, for $140,000. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,151 square feet of living area. The land sold in 1992 for $125,000.

Ormond Lakes

James and Julianne LeBlanc, of Daytona Beach, sold 12 Old McDuffle Circle to Timothy and Becky Nicks, of Ormond Beach, for $320,000. Built in 2005, the house has four bedrooms, three baths and 3,157 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2005 for $374,000.

William and Debra Jennings, of Ormond Beach, sold 50 Rocky Bluff Drive to Douglas and Georganne Wenger, of Ormond Beach, for $310,000. Built in 2005, the corner-lot house has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,990 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2005 for $384,700.

Murray and Marilyn Goldberg, of Jenkintown, Pa., sold 8 Sherrington Drive to Joanne and Thomas Quinian, of West Creek, Pa., for $160,000. Built in 1997, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,138 square feet of living area. The land sold in 1999 for $158,000.

Plantation Bay

Jeffrey and Anne Marie Thrasher, of Jacksonville, sold 1252 Harwick Lane, to Cono and Margaret Gallo, of Ormond Beach, for $275,000. Built in 2006, the house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fireplace and 2,075 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2008 for $253,000.

Glenn Gottlieb, of Ormond Beach, on behalf of the Estate of Ernest Gottlieb, sold 709 Dolphin Head Drive to Richard and Christine Krause, of Dover, N.J., for $200,000. Built by the owner in 1993, the house has two bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 2,060 square feet of living area.

Ruby Mills, of Mashpee, Mass., sold 242 Pine Cone Lane to William Snow, of Ormond Beach, for $157,500. Built by the seller in 1994, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,717 square feet of living area.

Springleaf

Stephen and Mary Courteaux, of Ormond Beach, sold 1804 Cherry Laurel Drive to Brian Buck and Timothy Throne, of Ormond Beach, for $110,000. Built in 2005, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,329 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2005 for $15,000.

Tomoka Oaks

Donald and Susan Hookom, of Holmes Beach, sold 322 River Bluff Drive to Brett and Kristin Robinson, of Ormond Beach, for $192,000. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,831 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2003 for $167,500.

Tomoka Park

Robert Heath, of Ormond Beach, sold 30 Whippoorwill Lane to Alicia Collins and Denise Bronson, of Columbus, Ohio, for $134,000. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,566 square feet of living area. The land sold in 1993 for $88,000.

Aqua Vista Circles

Lani Van Petten, of Ormond Beach, on behalf of the Lani Van Petten Revocable Living Trust, sold 1 Water Oak Circle to Judith Clarkson and Dominick Matra, of Holmes, N.Y., for $155,000. Built in 1962, the house has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,882 square feet of living area. The land sold in 2001 for $150,000.

Brendale Heights

Fannie Mae sold 126 Longwood Drive to Strongwerks LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $87,000. Built in 1957, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 941 square feet of living area.
