Ormond woman killed in Lake County crash

Mandi Mussack, 40, of Ormond Beach, was killed in a one-car crash on State Road 40 at 6:25 p.m. on Oct. 28.

The Florida Highway Patrol said she was travelling westbound on S.R. 40 and for an unknown reason lost control and left the roadway at Astor Park Cut-Off Road in Lake County. The 2000 Jaguar she was driving struck a culvert and overturned multiple times, the report said.

Mussack died at Ocala Regional Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
