Local band to play for Children’s Home Society

Ormond Beach residents Randy and Brenda McDonald, playing as Memphis & Me, will perform 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at Ormond Lanes, 260 N. U.S. 1, to benefit the Children’s Home Society.

As part of an annual chili cook-off event, the band will play in the King Pin Lounge. The band performed at last year’s cook-off, as well.

“It’s a super cause,” Brenda McDonald said. “(We) have been around for four years now and we play approximately 40 gigs a year.”

Live performance videos of the band can be seen at youtube.com/memphisandme.
