Cheers to 51 years of marriage!

Ormond Beach’s Sandy and Diane Dunn celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary Aug. 18, surrounded by friends and family, at Houligan’s Irish Sports Pub, in Destination Daytona. The night was planned by the couple’s three kids, Leanne Hansard, Greg Dunn and Dan Dunn.

Local author pens Civil War novel

Ormond Beach’s Kathy Stickney goes back in time, to the Civil War, in her new historical novel, “For Those I Love,” which is out now.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the story follows those who fought and suffered together, with only their faith in God and love for their families sustaining them.

Stickney is a genealogist and has researched her family for 18 years. Her book can be found on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com or tatepublishing.com.
