Sean Donovan exercises a positive mind through the titles of author, life coach and motivational speaker.

On Jan. 23, the Ormond Beach resident will help kick off the new year with a positive message for the Center for the Visually Impaired, 11:30 a.m. at the Palmetto Club, in Daytona Beach. His "Attitude and Gratitutde" presentation will also feature vendors, a 50-50 drawing and other raffles.

Part of a bimonthly series of luncheons put on by the center, the event is expected to draw about 100 community supporters, business leaders and program clients to attend.

The luncheon helps support programs of the Center for the Visually Impaired, a private nonprofit agency which serves the blind and visually impaired locally.

Lunch costs $13 and includes choices of spinach and artichoke chicken with wild rice, French bread club sandwich and chicken noodle soup or vegetarian stuffed shells. Reservations can be made by calling 253-8879.
