The Florida premiere of "The Heirs" will be presented at the Daytona Playhouse.

"The Heirs," a zany comedy about a widower attempting to marry in time to inherit an estate, is premiering in Florida at the Daytona Playhouse starting May 9.

Directed by Ormond Beach resident Bruce Heighley, the play promises twists and turns until the curtain is drawn as other household members try to weasel their way into the estate.

General tickets are $16, $14 for seniors age 55 and up, $5 for kids 18 and under. Shows will be held at 7:30 p.m., May 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17, and at 2:00 p.m., May 11 and 18.
