Happy birthday! Residents turn 107, 101

Two residents of Signature Health Care — Ormond, at 103 Clyde Morris Blvd., celebrated more than 200 years of life last Sunday, with birthday cake, ice cream and a tea party.

Mary Butzberger, 107, has been a facility resident since January 2011. She used to be a gourmet cook, loves to dance (and she even stood up and danced at the party) and has two step-children.

Betty Kenter, 101, has been a resident since January. She was a piano teacher and has two children.

Signature Health Care, a 60-bed facility established in Ormond Beach in 2007, will also host a wellness fair for its employees Feb. 19, where free blood screenings, massages, yoga and acupuncture will be offered.
