In this collection of photos from Ormond Beach, residents submitted shots from the beaches as well as their backyards.
Rick de Treville sent in a shot of a bird chowing down on some seafood, while J. Walker Fischer submitted a few snaps of sea life out of the water.
"We sometimes take fresh seafood for granted," de Trevill said, noting two commercial fishing boats his saw far off in the ocean. "For me, it’s meaningful to watch commercial fishermen troll their nets and then head to one of the local seafood restaurants."
Liza Parchuc also caught a close-up of a butterfly behind her home.
