Pinetrail Elementary has 'Doughnuts with Dads'

Krispy Kreme donated to the event.

Dads, granddads, uncles and brothers of Pine Trail Elementary students packed the media center and courtyard Sept. 30 for the school’s Doughnuts with Dads event. Krispy Kreme donated 50 boxes of doughnuts, and visitors stuck around after to talk to teachers.

“One teacher shared that she was able to teach a dad how to multiply using the lattice method,” Media and Technology Specialist Kelly Stotler said in a press release. “It was so encouraging to see the support for the children and the special memories that were being made.”
