Adams, Cameron & Co. agents recently joined together to participate in the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS® Adopt-A-School program.

The program collects monetary donations and school supplies to give to underprivileged children that reside in local Volusia County shelters and beyond. The goal of the program is to provide children in need with “Back to Basics” backpacks filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year.

The company was honored to donate over 150 backpacks filled with school supplies towards the Adopt-A-School program. Each office’s participation was vital in making sure that each backpack was filled with the necessary school supplies.

“Four [backpacks] were given to a family where the mother could not work due to health reasons, and she is the breadwinner in the family”, said Marge Allison, an office manager for Port Orange and Ormond mainland offices.

Adams, Cameron & Co. greatly appreciates and recognizes the time and effort that each agent put forth towards this fundraiser. The company is constantly in search of opportunities to better the local community and is pleased to report that this year’s backpack program was a success.
