Santa for Seniors starts Nov. 12

The Council on Aging's annual senior collection is partnering with Walgreens again.

Once again, the Council on Aging is partnering with Volusia County Walgreens to host the annual Santa for Seniors Collection Drive from Nov. 12 to Nov. 18.

The following items are needed for local seniors:

Toiletries: toothbrush, tooth‐ paste, denture cleaner, soap, lotion, shampoo, combs, brushes, shaving cream and disposable razors
Adult pullup diapers
Slippers, robe or pajamas
Sweaters or sweatshirts
Socks
Towels and washcloth sets
Pillow cases and sheets sets
Large print books and puzzle books
Tissues or handkerchiefs
Ensure or other nutrient drinks

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees also be collecting for the program during their meeting will 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Stonewood, 100 S. Atlantic Ave.
